Portals Bathford is unique. De La Rue is the only paper manufacturer in the world dedicated to producing solely high-security, non-currency paper, on cylinder mould paper machines. The paper produced by these machines is recognized as being the most secure achievable. This is partly because all security features are incorporated into the paper during manufacture, but mainly because of the multi-tonal, three dimensional watermarks which the cylinder mould process creates. This is the type of watermark recommended by Interpol for use in secure documents.
